Sound therapy is proven to be one of the most powerful forms of relaxation. It specifically brings the mind into a balance for effortless meditation and relaxation. Let go and allow the Gong to do the work while you relax and receive the benefits.
The Gong impacts the body and its meridians. It releases blocks, reduces tension, stimulates circulation, balances the chakras, and strengthens the Aura. The sound waves bring the subconscious mind into a balanced and meditative state, which allows for effortless meditation and relaxation that facilitates the movement of prana throughout the body and psyche.
The Gong is a healing tool for the body, mind, and soul on all levels. Here are some additional benefits of Gong Meditation:
- Helps repair the nervous system (including damages from alcohol & drugs)
- Reduces stress-related issues: depression, fatigue, anger, hostility, fear, and loneliness
- Stimulates the glandular system to a higher level of functioning
- Strengthens the immune system
- Creates deep relaxation and induces a spontaneous meditative state
- Clears the mind and releases you from the torrent of thoughts
- Clears the sub-conscious mind

The word “Kriya” is from the Sanskrit “kri” meaning “to do.” Patanjali stated, “Kriya Yoga is self-disciplined, self-study, and attunement to life.” The Kriya Flow class will guide practitioners to establish their hatha yoga practice linking gentle movement with breath.
Classes consist of a dharma talk (or short lesson/ theme), leading into a gentle breathing exercise, such as alternate nostril breathing or ujaye breath, followed by a series of kriyas (standing and seated poses, such as sun salutations, a warrior series, a balancing posture, and seated poses).
For the new student, time will be spent building poses from their foundation and finding the right practice for the body. For seasoned yogis, this class is an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the basics of the practice, helping to better align the body in each pose. The class will wind down with a short relaxation and closing to the dharma talk given at the beginning of class.
Each week we will concentrate on different postures according to the theme at hand. Themes will cover topics such as basic yogic philosophy, the yoga sutras, the history of yoga, the roles, and importance of various yoga masters in the tradition, and much more.
Yin Yoga is a beautiful practice that brings balance and calmness to the body, mind & spirit and prepares people for meditation while improving their health on many levels.
Most forms of yoga today are dynamic, active practices designed to work only half of our body, the muscular half or the “yang” tissues. Yin Yoga allows us to work the other half, the deeper “yin” tissues of our ligaments, bones, deep fascia networks, and even joints, which require gentle pressure for a period of time in order to release.
The benefits of practicing Yin Yoga include an increased range of motion for the muscles, regaining space and strength in the joints, moving the energy in our bodies, increasing the health of our organs, and quieting our minds.
Tai Chi Chuan is a Taoist internal martial art based on the principle of Yin Yang, the harmonious interaction of opposite forces for both creation and destruction. Tai Chi Chuan practice consists of Form (Yin) and Push Hands (Yang). Diligent practice of the art yields such benefits as power, wisdom, health, happiness, and martial skill.
Tai Chi, “meditation in motion,” is great for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.
Yogic breathing, or Pranayama, revitalizes the body, steadies the emotions, and creates great clarity of mind. Pranayama is subtle but powerful and a vital part of yoga practice. The more we become aware of our breath, the more we are able to calm the mind.
In this class, you will learn how to breathe correctly in order to facilitate the flow of Prana (breath/ life force energy), learn pranayama techniques, yogic philosophy, and how to incorporate pranayama into asana (posture) practice. Pranayama class will greatly benefit your yoga practice because more awareness of our breath expands the quality and experience of our yoga practice and life.
No previous experience with pranayama or yoga is necessary. Both beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome!
This class teaches the styles and benefits of meditation. We explore the different techniques of meditation and their benefits through lectures, warm-up yoga, standing, and sitting. Mental skills are developed using various meditation techniques. Mantras, mudras, and chants help reinforce memory and strengthen your three bodies: physical (outermost sheath), astral (sublime body), and casual (spiritual).
Our breath, posture, and movement are the three things we need to master in order to achieve what we desire through our meditation. Our movement can be physical or mental, and our willingness to be open to learning and practice will hone our inner growth.
All levels are welcome, no experience is required. Great for beginners!
Crystal bowl therapy helps to balance the chakra system and re-energize the auric field. When Chakras work in perfect harmony, you are in tune with your mind, body, and spirit. Unfortunately, nowadays, your emotions can easily affect your breathing, heart rate, metabolism, thoughts, and behavior. When Chakras are imbalanced or blocked, a feeling of disconnection from yourself and others and a struggle in our relationships is created.
Chakra Sound Healing Meditation is a lesson about the chakras that focuses on gentle poses, breathing, and meditation techniques, to help you bring balance to each of the Chakra locations in your body. As your life energy begins to circulate correctly through these spinning wheels, you will experience a new sense of peace, wholeness, and connection. You can immediately go into a state of full receptivity and relaxation.
Relax, recharge, and release mental and physical tension after a long week at our Candlelight Sound Meditation sessions.
Each class starts with a gentle warm-up, followed by pranayama breathing techniques and a special meditation based around a unique subject, followed by a rejuvenating sound healing session relaxing in restorative Shavasana, all by beautiful and atmospheric candlelight. Using the power of the gong, Tibetan Singing Bowls, and other instruments for meditation, you will feel refreshed and ready to take on the weekend.
Elevated Energy. Increased Awareness.
Come together as a community and help build the foundation of a new world. During full moon meditation, your energy will be at its highest. Just as the moon impacts the ocean and its tides it has a very powerful effect on the body, which is comprised of 75% water. We work to channel this energy force to go inward, transcend the mind, and feel the Divinity within.
The effect of all spiritual practice multiplies a thousandfold under the full moon.
On a full moon day, as the moon frequencies are more active, a heightened activity of the mind is observed. The adverse effect of the full moon is more on the physical or gross body, whereas that of the new moon is more on the mind. During the Full Moon, there is pressure on your glandular system, which can either make us erratic or the same pressure can be used to accelerate healing on all levels.
New Beginnings. Increased Consciousness.
The energy of the New Moon is particularly auspicious for new beginnings: planting new seeds and creating new cycles into motion. It is a perfect day to take a big step on your Spiritual Path. Dedicate New Moons to fresh starts or turning ideas into reality. Begin a new project, meditation, relationship, or a new business. Apply for a job, start a journal, or implement a new personal or professional commitment.
When the Moon is new, the Sun and Moon are aligned in the same sign, and a powerful energy portal is opened. New Moons are a great time to set intentions for things you’d like to create, develop, cultivate, and make manifest. The new Moon has a more inward feel. It can be described as a distinct cleansing or empty quality. It is the moment when the old passes away, and the new is not yet here. That’s why it’s a powerful time to send your prayers, wishes, and desires to the Universe.
Conscious Deep Sleep.
Experience one of the greatest methods of meditation with “Yoga Nidra,” Conscious Deep Sleep, and get renewed, rejuvenated, and recharged. Yoga Nidra is one of the deepest forms of all meditations, leading awareness through many levels of mental processes to a state of supreme stillness and insight.
Yoga Nidra was taught by ancient wisdom teachers for the purpose of exploring deep impressions or samskaras (past experiences that form desires that influence future responses and behavior which drive our actions or karma). They taught this so that the sincere seeker can purify the deeper aspect of the mind field, which is accessed in the formless state of conscious Deep Sleep.
Whether you are an experienced meditator or a novice, Yoga Nidra meditation is very easy and you can enjoy the benefits after one session; you just relax on your back and listen to the instructions given.
Please wear comfortable clothes & bring a light blanket (or similar) to cover yourself with.
