I am also an art meditation facilitator and the founder of Art of the Soul\, Inc.\, where creativity\, reflection\, and transformation come together. My creative journey is not only a path of healing but also a search for authenticity\, spiritual connection\, and meaningful contribution. A pivotal moment in my journey occurred while I was searching for a deeper understanding of myself. My advanced spiritual studies teacher gave me an assignment to draw and write about what were described as divine qualities: beauty\, power\, prosperity\, and love. What began as an affirmative prayer and homework assignment became a profound creative experience that would forever change my understanding of creativity and its potential for spiritual connection. As I worked on the assignment\, I felt less like I was creating the art and more like I was receiving it. The words\, images\, and symbols seemed to arrive on their own\, and my role was simply to give them form. That experience transformed my understanding of creativity and became one of the earliest inspirations behind Art of the Soul and its mission of affirming inner strength and beauty and revealing the divine essence of life. Life presented me with profound experiences of grief and loss that deepened my understanding of the healing journey. Through those experiences\, I discovered that creativity could offer more than expression—it could provide comfort\, connection\, meaning\, and a way to navigate life’s most difficult transitions. These insights came together when I started teaching art meditation as a form of affirmative prayer. Drawing upon the principles and practices I learned through my spiritual studies\, I discovered that creativity could become a pathway for people to connect with the divine essence within themselves. As I facilitated these experiences\, I recognized that many people learn and process information visually. By combining original artwork with affirming messages\, I was able to offer multiple ways for individuals to engage with spiritual concepts\, personal reflection\, and inner wisdom. What began as a creative and spiritual practice gradually evolved into a deck of Affirmation Cards—a tool designed to help people access insight\, inspiration\, and a deeper awareness of their own inherent beauty\, strength\, and potential. My love of learning and passion for business led me to the University of Washington\, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree at age 63\, focusing on Entrepreneurship and Human Rights. Alongside this education\, more than 25 years of spiritual study shaped my work as an Emeritus Practitioner of Religious Science. Serving as an end-of-life coach and helping families create meaningful memorials deepened my understanding of compassion\, connection\, and the significance of honoring each person’s journey. My work is rooted in the belief that creativity can help us not only heal from loss but also discover who we are meant to become. Art with intention became both my lifeline and my pathway toward purpose. \n \n \n \n The Story Behind ART OF THE SOULAs an artist\, designer\, and writer\, my focus is on self-discovery and spiritual reflection. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n On November 8\, join me at RYK Yoga & Meditation Center to experience these collections in person. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n On November 8\, join me at RYK Yoga & Meditation Center to experience these collections in person. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n On November 8\, join me at RYK Yoga & Meditation Center to experience these collections in person. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n On November 8\, join me at RYK Yoga & Meditation Center to experience these collections in person. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n On November 8\, join me at RYK Yoga & Meditation Center to experience these collections in person. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n On November 8\, join me at RYK Yoga & Meditation Center to experience these collections in person. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n On November 8\, join me at RYK Yoga & Meditation Center to experience these collections in person.
